Frequently Asked Questions
Will AHF's 2023 Annual Conference be in person?
Yes, AHF will host its annual conference in person and is planning closely with the Omni to ensure we keep all our attendees safe while we network with one another. We will monitor local, state and federal guidelines and ensure we provide a secure environment.
When does registration open?
Registration will open in March of 2023. We will send out an announcement when registration opens.
Can non-members participate?
Yes, AHF allows non-member operators to participate. However, we do not allow operator employees of contract management firms to participate. AHF is a national association working to promote and further the best interests of self-operated facilities and employees.
How do I join AHF?
Joining AHF as a member is easy. It can be done online here. You can also contact our staff at email@example.com to ask questions and get assistance with becoming a member. Registration for our annual conference is then discounted for you and any other Operators from your facility who you add to your membership.
What does the registration fee cover?
Full conference registration covers and includes everything from meals (breakfast, lunch, and most dinners), mid-day snacks, receptions and events, all educational sessions, the exhibit hall and tradeshow, and other activities outlined. Area activities (field trips) are at an additional cost. Once you arrive all your meals and activities are covered, so you can sit back and relax.
Are there ways to get assistance attending?
Yes, AHF provides as many scholarships as possible to help Operator members participate in conferences. Most scholarships provide Operators with support for the majority of their registration fee, although they may not cover the fee in full. We provide as much support as we can. If your facility has available funding to help you attend we kindly request that consider leaving scholarships open for those with more financial restrictions and support needs.
AHF Scholarship recipients may be required to attend specific events and support the association and our sponsors through promotions and networking activities in return for scholarship support.
While scholarships are limited, you can also use Real Rewards Cafe (RRC) points to pay for your registration fee thanks to a partnership between AHF and RRC. Check how many points your facility has with RRC to get yourself registered for the conference free of charge. Learn more on the registration page or the scholarship page.
Some AHF Chapters also provide scholarships to our annual conference further expanding your options for support. If you are a member of a chapter consider reaching out to see if they have available opportunities.
