AHF’s National Conference is the only place where operators can network and learn exclusively from the self-operated healthcare and senior dining industry. AHF and its members are leading the way in healthcare, senior dining, and hospitality.

Operators — AHF’s conference INCLUDES ALL MEALS, SNACKS, AND RECEPTIONS. Your registration includes all meals and receptions – so once you get here there really isn’t extra expense needed! Only unique smaller events are extra – and often those are free too. Operator Justification Letter

Download our template operator justification letter to help you gain support and funding to attend AHF 2024. Submit the request now to ensure your, and your teams, professional development is included in your facilities budget. Download the word document template and then customize this letter, add your own branding, and send it to your supervisor/administrator to help them understand the high level of value you would receive attending AHF’s Annual Conference. Explain what budget you need to attend by using the pricing above, calculating in if you’ll be applying for a scholarship, and be sure to include other members of your team: dietitians, chefs, culinary team members, managers, successors and others. 

Scholarships

AHF typically provides a number of $525 scholarships available to support operators. The amount provided each year changes slightly each year. Scholarships will open in February of 2024. Each year AHF is proud to provide scholarships to assist our operator members in attending the AHF Annual Conference thanks to the generous contributions of AHF Sponsors & Exhibitors, our local chapters, and members. 

Real Rewards Cafe Points

AHF Members can utilize Real Rewards Cafe to pay for their AHF Membership and Conference Registration! Real Rewards Cafe participation is free, easy and you can earn rewards, like AHF Membership and Conference Registration, for the foodservice products you already buy. Simply register for the conference and select “Pay with Real Rewards Cafe Points” At the end of the form. AHF will then submit your request to RRC.

Continuing Education Credits (CEU)

AHF is pleased to offer participants continuing education credits at each of our annual conferences. Each year AHF obtains certification approval from AND, ANFP and ACF. Credits per session can be found on the Schedule Page, however, attendees can expect to receive about 15+ credits.

Registration Policies

Cancellations must be received in writing no later than July 26, 2024. All cancellation requests must be sent via email to registration@healthcarefoodservice.org. All cancellations made before Friday, July 26, 2024, are subject to a $75 processing fee. No refunds will be granted after Friday, July 26, 2024, however, substitutions or transfers to another individual without penalty are welcome. AHF regrets that refunds will not be given for those who register but do not attend.

If an attendee is unable to attend the Conference based on serious illness or death (of self or a family member), a partial refund (amount paid minus a $75 processing charge) may be granted.  Requestors shall submit the request in writing to registration@healthcarefoodservice.org. The Association shall review the request to ensure it is in accordance with AHF’s written policies. No refunds shall be granted for canceled or missed flights and/or inclement weather.

The Association reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the Conference because of low enrolment, COVID 19, travel restrictions, lockdown, or other circumstances. If the Conference is canceled in its entirety due to circumstances beyond the control of it (including but not limited to, acts of God, war, terrorism, failure of transportation, weather, accidents, fires, electrical failures, strikes, labor disputes, postal delays, explosions, and government orders or regulations), the Association may choose to refund the appropriate registration fees to conference registrants; no refunds shall be made for travel expenses related to the conference. Attendees who purchase non-refundable airline tickets do so at their own risk.
