Macy Floro is an Undergraduate Student at Purdue University studying Dietetics and Nutrition with a minor in Human Development and also pursuing a Collaborative Leadership Certification. Her interests for a future career are in clinical dietetics, specifically within the gastrointestinal field. At Purdue, she is a part of the first-ever student-led AHF Chapter at Purdue, Delta Delta Delta sorority, and the nutrition society club. As the former President of the AHF Purdue Chapter, she was responsible for recruiting potential members, planning and executing all monthly meetings, participating in community outreach within the Purdue and Indiana community, and overseeing her 3 other officers. She has received multiple honors for her educational work including the Live, Lead, and Learn Scholarship through her sorority, the Alumni General scholarship through Purdue, and her SafeServ and National Restaurant Association Purchasing certifications. Her work experience has been in a variety of fields including being a Sales Associate, Dietary Aide, Purdue academic tutor, and an AHF intern at the 2022 National Conference.
