Mary Angela spent 15 years as Director of Nutrition Services for Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and 15 more as an administrator for a wide variety of departments. She now teaches management & health policy for OSU & has launched an entrepreneurial food safety consultancy, KeepSafe Food, LLC. She is currently a speaker and ambassador for the international Mediterranean Diet Roundtable which allows her to combine and to indulge in her love of cultural food and travel adventures. Mary is a well-known advocate for our profession. She was selected as a recipient of the IFMA Silver Plate in Healthcare, HFM’s Angela Gagliano Award and Foodservice Equipment & Supplies Management Excellence Award. Mary was an inaugural member of AHF’s Board & has served as a past president of one of its legacy organizations. She chaired the International Foodservice Manufacturer’s Gold & Silver Plate Society and the Management Practice group for the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics, for which she recently completed two terms as their national delegate. She earned her BS from Youngstown State, an MS from Case Western Reserve & OSU’s Executive Certificate in HC Administration
