AHF arranged a discounted room rate at the Hyatt Regency of $209 plus room tax per night for single occupancy. Double occupancy rate is $234++, triple occupancy rate is $259++, and quad rate is $284++.  These rates are available through July 24, 2026 or when the reserved block of rooms sells out, whichever comes first. After this date the hotel MAY continue to honor the rate if they have space available, but AHF cannot guarantee a room or a room at the discounted rate will be available to you. Please contact the hotel to ask. 

Subject to availability, AHF attendees may also be able to access the discounted rate 3 days before and 3 days after the dates of AHF’s National Conference, but you would need to contact the hotel to see what dates are available outside AHF’s primary date range. Hotel reservations will open in March along with Registration. Until then, we recommend planning your stay and obtaining support from your administration to attend and bring your team!

Air Travel & Travel to The Hotel

You should fly into the main airport for Atlanta, Hartsfield-Jackson (ATL). The Hyatt Regency Atlanta is roughly 10–12 miles (about 15–20 minutes) from ATL under typical traffic.  The Hyatt Regency Atlanta does not offer its own airport shuttle service. 

  • MARTA (Public-Transit Train): Take the MARTA train from the Airport Station (inside the domestic terminal) on the Gold or Red Line to Peachtree Center Station, then walk ~5 minutes to the hotel. One-way fare is about $2.50–$3.00, and total travel time is around 20–25 minutes.
  • Rideshare / Taxi (e.g. Uber, Lyft, taxi): Travel time ~15–25 minutes; fares typically run $25–$40 depending on time of day and demand.
  • Shared-ride shuttle/van service: Shared shuttle vans (book in advance) are available from ATL’s Ground Transportation center — a good budget-minded option. Typical fare to downtown hotels is around $16.50 per person.

Parking at Hyatt Regency Atlanta

The hotel offers on-site valet parking only, there is no on-site self-parking garage available for guest access. The valet rate is typically about US$60 per night, and this includes in/out privileges. There are nearby off-site parking garages/lots that guests can use.

Getting Around Town

Atlanta is an easy city to explore, with several convenient and affordable transportation options for attendees and their families.

  • MARTA, the city’s public transit system, is one of the simplest ways to travel—its rail lines connect downtown (including a station just a short walk from the Hyatt Regency Atlanta) with top attractions like the Georgia Aquarium, Zoo Atlanta, and Buckhead shopping districts.
  • Attendees can also use MARTA buses to reach neighborhoods like Grant Park, Midtown, and the BeltLine.
  • For door-to-door convenience, Uber, Lyft, and taxis are widely available and typically quick to arrive downtown.
  • Atlanta is also a very walkable city in key areas—especially around Centennial Olympic Park, Midtown, and the BeltLine’s Eastside Trail, which offers miles of pedestrian- and bike-friendly paths lined with restaurants, breweries, and public art.
  • For those who prefer wheels, bike and e-scooter rentals from companies like Relay Bike Share and various scooter providers are popular for short hops around the city.
