Scholarship, National Award, and Culinary Competition applications open in February 2025. AHF’s National Conference is the only place where operators can network and learn exclusively from the self-operated healthcare and senior dining industry. Operators and full attendees will enjoy nearly all meals and snacks on AHF as part of their fee. So once you get here you won’t need to worry about finding food!

It will be an event full of new innovations, inspiration, and unique activities. The conference will cover topics including (but not limited to) leadership, food traceability, AI, robotics, technology, C-suite insights, cultural competence, sustainability, supply chain management, revenue growth, retail, contract management, time management, employee incentives, renovations, malnutrition, and more! 

2025 Registration Rates

Sponsors/Exhibitors should first sign up for a space on our “Become A Sponsor” page. Then AHF staff will provide details about redeeming your complimentary badges or adding additional ones at a fee.

  • Members: Operators, Educators, Retired, Affiliates

    Operators, educators, retired, or affiliate members of AHF. This registration badge is a full conference pass which includes all meals, receptions, events (except area activities), sessions, unlimited networking, and CEUs. Rate is $800 early bird and $900 regular.

    Operators from self-operated healthcare facilities or senior dining communities that are NOT Members.   • Student Members

    AHF offers a discounted rate for students from culinary and deietetic or related programs to attend AHF National Conferences. Either a student can attende for free if they only attend sessions (this will not include meals, receptions, snacks, or activities). OR students can pay a vastly discounted rate to attend as Full Attendees (including all the benefits of a full registration ticket). Full attendance rate is $250.

    AHF provides a limited number of full conference registraiton passes to business partner members of AHF that are NOT exhibiting or sponsoring. This registration badge is a full conference pass which includes all meals, receptions, events (except area activities), sessions, unlimited networking, and CEUs. HOWEVER, this pass does not include free access to the Tradeshow. A limited number of tours will be offered for new companies interested in sponsoring in the future. Thank you for understanding. Rate is $1,950 early bird and $2,050 regular.

    Tradeshow-Only registration pass rate for employees of confirmed AHF sponsors or exhibitors. NOTE: This pass only provides access to the tradeshow, setup and breakdown. It does not include F&B, sessions, or activities. Rate is $250. An individual pass to the Opening Reception can be added at the time you secure your tradeshow pass. If the individual wishes to attend other receptions, they need to upgrade to a full conference registration pass.

Attendance Support

Operator Justification Letter

Download our template operator justification letter to help you gain support and funding to attend AHF 2025. Submit the request now to ensure your, and your teams, professional development is included in your facilities budget. Download the word document template and then customize this letter, add your own branding, and send it to your supervisor/administrator to help them understand the high level of value you would receive attending AHF’s National Conference. Explain what budget you need to attend by using the pricing above, and then include if you’ll be applying for a scholarship. Be sure to include other members of your team: dietitians, chefs, culinary team members, managers, successors and others. 

Scholarships

AHF typically provides a number of $525 scholarships available to support operators. The amount provided each year changes slightly each year. Scholarships will open in February of 2025. Each year AHF is proud to provide scholarships to assist our operator members in attending the AHF Annual Conference thanks to the generous contributions of AHF Sponsors & Exhibitors, our local chapters, and members. 

Real Foodservice Rewards

AHF Members can utilize Real Rewards Cafe to pay for their AHF Membership and Conference Registration! Real Foodservice Rewards articipation is free, easy and you can earn rewards, like AHF Membership and Conference Registration, for the foodservice products you already buy. Simply register for the conference and select “Pay with Real Foodservice Rewards Points” At the end of the form. AHF will then submit your request to RFR.

Registering more than 5 operators at the full conference rate from the same system or facility? Send us a note and we’ll provide you with a code to receive 10% off your registration! *All registrations must be at the full rate, and cannot be combined with scholarship recipients. 

Other Support Options

Looking for support registering? Apply to compete in our Culinary Competition, or nominate yourself (or others) for an AHF award. Both applications open in early 2025. 

Registration Policies

Cancellations must be received in writing no later than July 25, 2025. All cancellation requests must be sent via email to registration@healthcarefoodservice.org. All cancellations made before Friday, July 25, 2025, are subject to a $75 processing fee. No refunds will be granted after Friday, July 25, 2025, however, substitutions or transfers to another individual without penalty are welcome. Unfortunately, we cannot apply a registration to a future year. AHF regrets that refunds will not be given for those who register but do not attend.

If an attendee is unable to attend the Conference based on serious illness or death (of self or a family member), a partial refund (amount paid minus a $75 processing charge) may be granted.  Requestors should submit the request in writing to registration@healthcarefoodservice.org. The Association shall review the request to ensure it is in accordance with AHF’s written policies. No refunds shall be granted for canceled or missed flights and/or inclement weather.

The Association reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the Conference because of low enrollment, COVID 19, travel restrictions, lockdown, or other circumstances. If the Conference is canceled in its entirety due to circumstances beyond the control of it (including but not limited to, acts of God, war, terrorism, failure of transportation, weather, accidents, fires, electrical failures, strikes, labor disputes, postal delays, explosions, and government orders or regulations), the Association may choose to refund the appropriate registration fees to conference registrants; no refunds shall be made for travel expenses related to the conference. Attendees who purchase non-refundable airline tickets do so at their own risk.

Guest Passes

AHF offers guest passes to one or more of our evening receptions for attendees bringing spouses, friends, or family. Guest passes may not be used for regular attendees or additional attendees of vendor companies, etc. Those individuals must register at the appropriate rate above as standard attendees. Guest passes can be added during registration. Or by emailing registration@healthcarefoodservice.org.
