John J. Hudak Jr., CEC, AAC, is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Johnson & Wales University; ranking first in his class at Walt Disney World while on internship. Chef John is an active member of the American Culinary Federation (ACF); currently serving as the Chairman of the Board of the ACF Professional Chefs of Northeastern Pennsylvania, Inc. He is a Certified Executive Chef (CEC) & a member of the American Academy of Chefs (AAC) a prestigious honor society nationwide. Chef John has worked in a variety of facets throughout the culinary industry including, private clubs, resorts, independent restaurants, specialty camps, entertainment complexes, secondary & post-secondary education; receiving a Vocational Instruction I teaching certificate from Temple University. He has owned & operated a USDA meat & poultry facility & catering business for 14 years. Currently, he is employed by Geisinger as the System Executive Chef. When not working, Chef John cares for his farm, maintains his country landscape, and garden and enjoys the outdoors. He regularly volunteers to provide meals for the homeless and less fortunate.
