It’s time for AHF’s community to come back together for the best annual conference in the industry. Let AHF take care of you for the week while you safely watch nationally renowned speakers, network with friends and colleagues, learn about the latest innovations from our business partners, and eat great meals.  The Association for Healthcare Foodservice’s Annual Conference is the industry-leading conference for self-operated (independent) foodservice professionals and business partners working in healthcare and senior dining.

Participants can expect to join AHF for unique conference sessions focused on industry trends, future innovation, leadership, retail management, culinary inspiration, and so much more. Not only that, but our events are a place to make lifelong friends. AHF is an open and welcoming community and one packed full of individuals capable of lending support and advice. You don’t want to miss being a part of our annual conference. 


What’s included? Just about everything. Unlike other events where you may have to budget in added food and event costs, your registration fee covers all your meals, all AHF events and activities, all sessions, and anything else that we plan to help members. The only thing not included is the optional area activities (field trips).

Hybrid Virtual Offering

AHF’s hybrid registration option provides you with a way to participate without attending in person. Don’t miss out simply because you cannot attend in person.

What do you receive? Hybrid participants will have live-streamed access to select sessions (to be determined.) Additionally, you are invited to join our Awards Ceremony and Culinary Competition live online. In total this will account for approximately 5 CEU hours. Engage remotely and ask presenters questions LIVE using AHF’s mobile app, while also chatting with attendees there in person.**

**Depending on the number of registrants, AHF may opt to switch the virtual offering to recorded sessions. Virtual attendees would still receive the same benefits, receive the same amount of credits, and be able to watch the sessions. However, the sessions would be provided as recordings within 1-2 weeks of the annual conference rather than being live streamed.

Assistance To Attend

Operator Scholarships

AHF offers conference scholarships to operators (1 per Institutional member) to assist with registration. Apply before May 13th.  AHF will provide as many scholarships as possible.  Find out more here.

Group Discounts

AHF offers a 10% discount off the cost of registration for groups of 5 or more operators. That’s a potential savings of $375 or more! Email registration@healthcarefoodservice.org to notify us if you will be registering 5 or more operators and we will provide a code to apply the discount. 

Real Rewards Cafe Points

AHF and Real Rewards Cafe (RRC) have partnered up to make sure you have multiple ways to get access to AHF’s self-operated content. RRC points can be used to register not only for AHF’s conference but also for AHF membership. Three simple steps:

  • 1. Register for the conference
  • 2. Select “invoice me” as your payment option
  • 3. Then send your invoice to RRC and ask them to pay AHF on your behalf. It’s that simple!

AHF provides its members with over a thousand dollars in value for dues beginning at just $225.


Cancellation Policy: 

Cancellations must be received in writing no later than July 6, 2022. All cancellation requests must be sent via email to registration@healthcarefoodservice.org. All cancellations made before Friday, July 6, 2022, are subject to a $75 processing fee. No refunds will be granted after Friday, July 6, 2022, however, substitutions or transfers to another individual without penalty are welcome. AHF regrets that refunds will not be given for those who register but do not attend.

If an attendee is unable to attend the Conference based on serious illness or death (of self or a family member), a partial refund (amount paid minus a $75 processing charge) may be granted. Requestors shall submit the request in writing to registration@healthcarefoodservice.org. The Association shall review the request to ensure it is in accordance with AHF’s written policies. No refunds shall be granted for canceled or missed flights and/or inclement weather. If an attendee is unable to attend the Conference for reasons other than serious illness or death and cancels after the July 6th refund deadline, their registration will be automatically transferred to a virtual registration.

The Association reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the Conference because of low enrollment, COVID 19, travel restrictions, lockdown, or other circumstances. If the Conference is canceled in its entirety due to circumstances beyond the control of it (including but not limited to, acts of God, war, terrorism, failure of transportation, weather, accidents, fires, electrical failures, strikes, labor disputes, postal delays, explosions, and government orders or regulations), the Association may choose to refund the appropriate registration fees to conference registrants; no refunds shall be made for travel expenses related to the conference. Attendees who purchase non-refundable airline tickets do so at their own risk.

Continuing Education Credits (CEU)

AHF is pleased to offer participants continuing education credits at each of our annual conferences. Each year AHF obtains certification approval from AND, ANFP and ACF. Credits per session can be found on the Schedule Page, however, attendees can expect to receive about 15+ credits.
