Ceret Leyva is the Director of Food Safety at Ben E. Keith Foods. Ceret received her Bachelor of Science in Health Studies in 2008 from Texas Woman’s University with a minor in biology and a Master’s in Public Health in 2012 from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. She has over 15 years of experience in food safety and quality assurance, supply chain, plant-level processes, distribution, research and development, operations, and procurement. As well as over 15 years of industry leadership and development through organizations like WFF, BIFSCO, NAMI, and USMEF. Ceret holds various professional certifications in Project Management, HACCP, Seafood HACCP, PCQI, BRC, and SQF through SMU, Texas A&M, FSNS, International HACCP Alliance, and the Association of Food and Drug Officials.
