Dr. Milton L. McGowian has dedicated over 30 years to the culinary industry and currently serves as Vice President of Resident Services at The Sharon at SouthPark in Charlotte, North Carolina. Milton is deeply committed to volunteerism and professional development. He chairs the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and actively participates in the Professional Development and Certified Board of Standards Committees for the Association for Nutrition and Foodservice Professionals (ANFP). Additionally, he serves as a Director at Large on the LeadingAge North Carolina Board of Directors and is Chair Elect for the board for the Nutrition & Foodservice Education Foundation. He also serves on the Dining Committee for SDA. Dr. McGowian’s academic credentials consist of holding a Bachelor’s degree in Business, an MBA, and a Doctorate in Business Non-Profit Leadership and Management. He is also nationally certified as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) and a Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP).
