Erica Salgado started her career with BayCare Health System 25 years ago as a Supervisor of Food and Nutrition Services. She served as a Senior Public Health Dietitian with the Florida Department of Health before rejoining BayCare in 2014 as the Manager of Food and Nutrition Services at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida. Today, she is the Director of Food and Nutrition Services for BayCare Health System East Region, overseeing 7 hospitals ranging from 60 – 600 beds. Erica is a graduate of the University of Florida (Go Gators!!) with a Masters of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition. She enjoys traveling the world, good food, great wine, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
